To show you a summary of my learning process, I created a
Prezi presentation, which allowed me to show you different topics in an
interactive way. This cool tool was very fun and easy to use. The presentations are very easy to design and you can choose the most appropriate level for you (novice, skilled and master). During our cool tool reviews,
I didn’t choose to work with Prezi so I thought it was a good idea to practice using a new
cool tool this time.

This presentation covers the main things I have learned in Principles of Instructional Technology class, how they will influence my future decisions as a teacher as well as some suggestions on how teachers should approach challenges when working on introducing technology in the classroom.
I think the main idea I have taken from this class is that technology should be an essential component in our classrooms, regardless the level or subject we teach. But we also need to be careful about the use of technology and learn how to be good digital citizens and teach our students how to do it as well.
The topics I included in my Summary of Learning are Open Education, TPACK, Digital Citizenship, E-books and Digital Learning Environments. I must admit that most of them were new to me and that they have changed the way I thought about teaching.
As educators, we have the responsibility for our students’ learning, so I found amazing the way technology (cool tools, OERs, digital learning environments, E-books, etc.) can help us motivate our students and provide them with so many opportunities to meet their individual needs. During this semester, I learned a lot about differentiating instruction and I think that what we have learned in this class can be very beneficial and help us to be successful at it.
